Blair-based Republican state Sen. Ben Hansen took some time to discuss the recently completed legislative session, answering questions about some of the more newsworthy events of the session.
Up for re-election in 2022, Hansen said he is already out and about around the district, meeting with constituents and preparing for the November election.
QUESTION: What did you think of this year’s session, notably representing your constituents?
HANSEN: “Overall, I think we did very well. There are different perspectives you can look at it from, but the things I wanted to get done, especially…not tax reform, but tax relief, I think we made a huge difference there.
